We loved this hotel! It was very close to the beach on the Romanian coast, just a 5-minute walk from popular beach spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean with access to a private beach with free seats. The breakfast was great, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the hotel facilities.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Only advantage of this hotel is its location - directly next to Sunwaves & Kudos, I think that it's the nearest hotel to SW.
Prices are strongly overdue. You pay almost Savoy's price and get the furniture of old XX century. My room had got short length bath without shower curtain, no shower gel or any other supplements by hotel, only liquid soap; No cleaning was performed during 3 nights/2 days, regarding that I didn't put any DND on door (haven't even seen it). Old school door keys. Wireless works only on the entrance to the room, if works at all.

The hotel had a great breakfast and the staff was friendly. The location was really convenient, close to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the fact that there was a private beach and free seats.
The noise from the street was really loud, especially during the night. The shower pressure wasn't strong enough, and there was no hot water on one of the days.

We had to change room because of uncleanness. Stairways to 3 floors is not easy for baggage. They disregard the Booked.net reservation and ask for cash payment in advance. No credit card. We easily found an other better hotel at lower price in same neighborhood.

Newly built, very clean, loads of light in the room
Some hik-ups in providing same standard/level breakfast every day.

The hotel is conveniently located just a few steps away from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making the check-in process a breeze. the spacious room provided enough room for us to relax and unwind after a long day.
The lack of proper temperature control in the hallways and rooms. It can get uncomfortably hot at times, especially during warmer days.

The hotel is fully renewed, amazingly clean and its staff is the best you can figure out: professional, charming, smiling, After the first night we left to Bulgaria and one of us forgot some belongings in the room, at our return to the hotel, 10 days later, everything was kindly given back to us by such a friendly stuff. Rooms are large, just renewed and really clean as well. P.S. Mamaia's sandy beach is just 100 meters away.

For its price the hotel is fine. The breakfast is also acceptable, nothing flash but ok. Some of the hotel staff were very helpful, others not so much but I think this is the common Eastern European way (ie unaccommodating / helpful and generally rude).
The decor, furnishings and hotel facilities are all very dated (1970- 80s) and the layout of the hotel is rather peice-meal, but for its price I supposes its ok, although I wouldnt recommend it to friends in the future, but rather advise them to spend a little more and get a modern room elsewhere or an apartment.

We stayed at a hotel on the Romanian coast recently and the location was very convenient. It was right next to the beach and a short walk to the festival we attended. the room was decently priced and had good wifi. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the hotel.
The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. the towels were not changed regularly and the bedsheets had spots on them.

This Hotel does not follow the policy regarding credit card reservations as advertised by Booked.net. The hotel blocked the full amount for our stay on our credit card. Apart from that, the location is bad - it is placed near a disco on the beach, which played music until 3 am every night - that made it difficult for our kids to fall asleep. Next - the hotel staff could not give us some basic information, like whether the restaurant would be open the following day. Breakfast was skimpy, the staff waited until the plates got empty before they brought other food. On Saturday night there was a wedding the the hotel restaurant and they served us the remains of the wedding menu for breakfast next day. We could see one of the waitresses cleaning the toilettes one day, which means they do not employ enough staff or the means to pay for it. Last but not least - the refrigerator worked poorly. In one word, we would not recommend this hotel, especially to families with children.

We have 2 small children and the family room was spacious and the cot already set up for us. There were towel provided for the beach so we didn't have to use our own - a nice touch The room was also situated at the other end of the hotel from the function room which allowed us not to be disturbed by the wedding that took place.
The room had a spacious bathroom but without any shower curtain so the floor was always wet The decor was really dates and shabby in the room After a 2 week holiday around Romania this was the most expensive hotel we stayed in. We did not think it was worth all the money.

I didn't find exact address at the Booked.net. And when I asked hotel's staff by phone - I have not gotten answer about exact address. So I couldn't find hotel before I've asked taxi-driver about way to hotel.

1. They block the entire sum of money on your card although it is written clearly on Booked.net that they do not require deposit/pre-payment 2. Upon check-in they require to pay all the stay. I saw other guests complaining about it. 3. My room was small, facing a camping site, where they played loud music. 4. On they day I left, I had to gave explanations about my whereabouts in order to be able to use their public bathroom near reception. Somehow like in prison (I guess)

Location, very clean
I am sad to say, but firstly we had to pay in advance before we enter our room. We would pay anyway, but staff was pressing for money. We were also watched during eating- it was noot comfortable. Breakfest was very poor, old bread, very few choice, allways had to wait for coffe, sausages, chease. Staff was just putting few slices and for next slices You had to wait. Restaurant in the hotel was not working at all. The night we arrived after 900 km driving ( with 3 kids) in hotel was weading till 5 in the morning. Also we had room for 4 people. These were 2 rooms - one was large with window and aircondition and one was small with no window and no aircondition. It was hardly possible to sleep in this small room. Very hot and no air.
